What does it mean that the AFLC is living?

We are a living church because God is a missionary God. He desires to bring souls to repentance and faith through the gospel. Empowering us with His Spirit, He has gifted and chosen to use the body of Christ to actively go, baptize, and teach in order to make disciples.

We recognize that we are some of these disciples, who by God’s power have been reached through the witness of other Christians. We proclaim that God’s Spirit has been given to indwell His people, which cultivates a deep spiritual vitality and living fruit that draw others to Jesus. We seek to joyfully walk by His Spirit, serving others with the gifts of grace that He has given to each believer.
