He Gets Us… What is the story here?

Have you seen the “He Gets Us” campaign? Billboards and TV spots have made quite a splash over the past year. Over $100 million dollars have been spent in spreading the campaign’s messaging across America. Last year during the Superbowl millions of people saw the campaign and this year “He Gets Us” has another spot queued up.

What should we think about this campaign?

I’ve done some reading and listening to respected Christian teachers and apologists about some concerns that they have, and I have compiled a few bellow for you to check out. I hope you take some time to especially read/listen to the first one below by Natasha Crain. John Stonestreet is also very good. I share in some of their concerns and would encourage you to read and listen. We don’t have to expect everything and everyone to be perfect, but we should also be discerning.

May God’s peace be with you, and I hope you have a great weekend. And if you watch the Super Bowl Sunday afternoon, I hope you join me in cheering for a well officiated game! Go stripes!
